4th Annual District 2 Community Cookout

About This Event

Join Council Member Angela Whitfield Calloway for a community cookout with food and networking.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll see grills and picnic tables around the Northwest Activities Center as neighbors mingle with local officials, so be ready for light conversation and a quick self intro.
• 2.The crowd is warm and low pressure, so you can wander, chat, and grab a plate at your own pace without a strict schedule.
• 3.Food lines can move slowly around noon, so consider arriving a bit earlier or having a plan to grab a bite quickly.
• 4.The event runs from 12:00 to 15:00, so bring water and sunscreen, wear casual clothes, and park where you can find space at or near the center.
• 5.If you're new to the area, prepare a simple hello and one or two questions about local services to break the ice and start conversations.
