88th Annual Algonac Pickerel Festival

About This Event

A long-standing community festival featuring a carnival, food, and entertainment.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive early to snag parking and map out the layout; the festival spreads across Algonac Waterfront Park, so you’ll want a plan for rides, food stalls, and the main stage.
• 2.Bring cash for carnival games and vendors; many booths still operate on cash-only or have long card-reader lines, so have small bills ready.
• 3.Hydrate and protect yourself from the sun; this is an outdoor waterfront event in July—bring sunscreen, a hat, and a reusable water bottle.
• 4.If you’ve got kids, check ride height restrictions and designate a meeting spot; hit the kid-friendly options early to beat the lines.
• 5.Keep an eye on the day’s schedule at the info booth and plan around performances; the event runs from around midday to 11 pm, so you won’t want to miss your top acts or favorite eateries.
