A Midsummer Night's Dream

About This Event

Walled Lake Consolidated Schools presents a production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll get a student driven Shakespeare night with a lean set and live acting, so stay focused on the dialogue and enjoy the energy of a school production. The cast will be in period costumes and the staging will lean on acting and blocking since the space is a library.
• 2.The vibe will be quiet and supportive, with families and classmates in the audience; clap after scenes but keep conversations down to respect the library setting.
• 3.There usually aren't concessions in a library performance, so hydrate before you go and plan snacks outside the building.
• 4.Get there early to snag a seat and map the space, since library venues can have tight layouts.
• 5.If Shakespeare isn't your thing, use the program to track character names and just enjoy the humor, spectacle, and teamwork behind a student production.
