An Evening with Cat Power: The Greatest Tour

About This Event

Cat Power performs her iconic album 'The Greatest' in its entirety along with other fan favorites.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll get a full live run-through of The Greatest, with Cat Power's signature intimate, minimalist arrangements. Expect her voice to be front and center, with subtle guitar and sparse backing that let each song breathe.
• 2.The crowd tends to be quiet and respectful during the slower moments. They’re emotionally engaged during the big, familiar moments.
• 3.There’s a bar at Saint Andrew’s Hall, so plan to grab a drink before and after; give yourself time for possible lines.
• 4.Bundle up for Detroit winter and use the coat check if you’re bringing extra layers.
• 5.If you’re new to Cat Power, set expectations for a mood-heavy, reflective night rather than a high-energy rock show.
