An Evening With Chicago

About This Event

The legendary rock band Chicago performs live at the historic Fox Theatre.

What to Expect

• 1.Doors usually open around 6:30–7:00 pm, so plan to arrive early to park and get seated before the crowd swells for Chicago’s set.
• 2.The Fox Theatre is a historic, mainly seated venue in downtown Detroit, so map out your seat in advance and don’t expect a full standing room experience—if you want to be close, aim for orchestra center or mezzanine seating.
• 3.Parking around Woodward Ave can fill up fast; use nearby paid lots or public transit if you can, and give yourself extra time for security checks.
• 4.Bring a small bag or go bagless to speed through the security line—check the venue’s bag policy before you head in.
• 5.Merch tables sell Chicago memorabilia and tour gear; if you want something specific, consider grabbing it before the show or right after intermission to beat the post-show rush.
