What to Expect

• 1.Arrive 20-30 minutes early to locate your seat and settle in; the seating at Orchestra Hall is typically assigned and the program may start promptly.
• 2.Silence your phone and avoid talking during the performance; clap at appropriate moments and after the final note of a piece as directed by the conductor.
• 3.Dress smart-casual for a concert at a polished venue and consider a light wrap since concert halls can be chilly.
• 4.There are lobby concessions where you can grab a drink or a snack before the show or during intermission; avoid bringing outside food into the seating area.
• 5.Plan for parking or transit in Midtown Detroit and allow extra time on weekend evenings; the venue sits on Woodward Ave with nearby garages and option to ride-share if needed.
