Ben's Smooth Jazz & Soul

About This Event

Live jazz and soul performance in a classic Detroit speakeasy setting.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive a bit early to snag a decent seat—Cliff Bell's is a small, intimate space and the stage is close to the crowd.
• 2.Dress smart casual to match the speakeasy vibe; you don’t have to go full formal, but a notch above jeans won’t hurt.
• 3.Expect a jazz-and-soul focused set with tight arrangements and plenty of instrumental solos—keep conversation low during solos and let the music breathe.
• 4.Hit the bar for a drink or small bites before or after the set; the venue leans into classic club cocktails and a cozy, late-night atmosphere.
• 5.Tip the musicians if you enjoyed the performance; cash tips at the end of the set are appreciated and help the band.
