Bernadette Peters in Concert

About This Event

Broadway legend Bernadette Peters joins the Detroit Symphony Orchestra for an afternoon performance.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a seated concert built around Bernadette Peters' vocals, with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra accompanying her. It's more of a polished listening experience than a sing-along.
• 2.Get there early enough to find your seat and settle in before the performance starts. Orchestra Hall is a concert venue, so late arrivals may have to wait for a pause before being seated.
• 3.Check parking and traffic around Woodward Avenue before you leave, especially if you're driving downtown. Give yourself extra time rather than relying on a quick curbside drop-off.
• 4.Dress comfortably but a little smart if you like; there's no need to treat an afternoon concert as formal unless you want to.
• 5.If you're unfamiliar with Peters' Broadway work, a quick playlist listen beforehand will help you recognize the songs and enjoy the orchestral arrangements.
