Big Band Concert: Power Play Detroit

About This Event

Part of the Northville Summer Concert series, featuring Power Play Detroit performing in the historic Town Square.

What to Expect

• 1.Get to the historic Town Square a bit early to stake out a good spot, since seating is informal and it gets crowded as the opener plays. Bring a blanket or a small folding chair so you aren't stuck standing the whole time.
• 2.Power Play Detroit will be delivering Big Band favorites in a true town square setting, so expect brassy tunes and crowd-pleasers you can hum along to.
• 3.The crowd tends to be friendly and low pressure, so you can chat with nearby neighbors if you want or just soak in the music.
• 4.Parking around 150 East Main Street can be busy after work, so consider parking a few blocks away or using ride share, and allow a few extra minutes to walk.
• 5.September evenings can cool down, so bring a light layer and water, and check the forecast in case of rain since outdoor shows can be canceled or moved.
