What to Expect
- 1.You'll be hopping between stages and acts from around the world, so sketch a loose plan and let a few acts surprise you. Stick to a couple you really want and be ready to improvise if a better set pops up.
- 2.The crowd will be lively and friendly, so it's easy to strike up a chat with someone about a performance. If you're solo, look for common ground at the food stalls or near a stage you're into.
- 3.World cuisine will be on offer, so pick a couple bites you want to try and stay hydrated. Lines can get long, so go early or during changeovers and bring a reusable bottle if possible.
- 4.Plan to use transit or rideshare as parking around Cass Avenue can be tight. Give yourself extra time for walking between spaces at the venue.
- 5.As a first timer, download the festival map, pick two anchor performances, and give yourself a short break between sets to recharge. It helps you avoid burnout.
