What to Expect
- 1.Arrive a few minutes early to grab coffee and scan the room so you can identify a few people you want to chat with.
- 2.Have a tight 30-second intro and two open-ended questions ready to keep conversations flowing without awkward silences.
- 3.Bring business cards or a digital contact method and aim to swap details with 3–5 people, noting one memorable detail to mention in your follow-up.
- 4.Be mindful of the venue: stick to common areas for networking and avoid discussing private clinical topics near patients or in restricted spaces.
- 5.Plan for parking and check-in: allow extra time for parking on West Maple, check in at the front desk, and ask where the networking area is so you don’t wander aimlessly.
