What to Expect

• 1.Arrive a few minutes early to check in at the shop and grab a quick coffee so you’re ready when the room fills up.
• 2.Have a tight 30-second elevator pitch and a stack of business cards so you can explain what you do and what you’re after in a single breath.
• 3.Kick off conversations with a specific question about their business or how they engage with the chamber to get past generic small talk.
• 4.Jot quick notes on who you meet and follow up within 24–48 hours to turn conversations into real connections.
• 5.Remember you’re in a boutique shop in the morning—dress business casual, mind the shoppers, and keep conversations concise so you don’t block the aisle.
