Day on the Town

About This Event

Birmingham's biggest retail event of the year, where merchants offer their best deals of the season on the streets and sidewalks of downtown.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll be wandering sidewalks lined with merchant pop ups along downtown Birmingham, hunting seasonal deals and one of a kind finds.
• 2.The crowd moves steadily but it's easy to slip in and out; people chat with vendors, but you can shop solo without feeling put on the spot.
• 3.Food and drink pop ups will be around corners; bring cash and maybe a small bag for samples; some vendors take mobile pay.
• 4.Parking around Martin Street can be tight, so use public transit or park in nearby surface lots and walk in from a side street; start early (9am) for the best selections.
• 5.First timer tip: map a route but leave room to wander; set a modest budget; wear comfortable shoes; stay hydrated.
