What to Expect

• 1.You'll hear a full Detroit Jazz Orchestra with Ali Jackson—expect tight big-band passages, swinging rhythms, and standout solos from the band.
• 2.Spread Art is a relatively small venue, so arrive about 30 minutes early to grab a seat and soak in the room's artsy vibe.
• 3.Dress up a bit to fit the upscale, artsy crowd at Spread Art, but comfort matters—good shoes help if you end up standing for encores.
• 4.Parking on Rosa Parks Boulevard can be tight after sunset; consider rideshare and leave extra time to stroll the nearby neighborhood after the show.
• 5.Silence your phone and let the solos breathe; if you're not sure about photography, ask staff or avoid flash to respect the musicians.
