Detroit Metropolitan Youth Symphony Performance

About This Event

A performance by the Detroit Metropolitan Youth Symphony showcasing talented young musicians from across the region.

What to Expect

• 1.This is a concert-style performance, so plan to settle in and listen rather than expect a drop-in or interactive format.
• 2.Arrive a little early to find the performance room and get seated without rushing. The venue is a community center, so follow posted signs or ask staff if the concert space is not obvious.
• 3.Youth orchestra concerts often draw families and supporters, so expect a warm, attentive crowd with some audience members attending to cheer on a particular musician.
• 4.Keep phones silent and save conversation for breaks or after the performance so the musicians can be heard clearly.
• 5.If you're bringing children, check in advance whether there are age or seating guidelines; bring a quiet activity for younger kids if they may have trouble sitting through the full concert.
