Diamonds in the Rust Concert

About This Event

A live performance by Diamonds in the Rust, a quartet of veteran Michigan songwriters featuring Annie & Rod Capps and Jan Krist & Jim Bizer.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a songwriter-focused live set from a quartet, with the songs and stories taking center stage rather than big production effects.
• 2.Penn Theatre is a movie theater, so you can settle into a seat and watch without needing to arrive ready to stand for the whole show.
• 3.Arrive a little early to find your seat and get comfortable. Check the venue's current policies for refreshments and entry details before heading out.
• 4.This should work well as a first concert on your own: the seated format gives you a clear focal point, and conversation with other attendees is optional.
• 5.If you enjoy hearing how veteran songwriters shape and perform their material, listen closely to the lyrics and the interplay between the four musicians.
