Dil Chahta Hai

About This Event

Musical performance featuring Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, and Loy Mendonsa.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll hear classic Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy numbers, including Dil Chahta Hai tracks, performed live with lush arrangements and extended instrumental sections.
• 2.The Fox Theatre is a grand, ornate venue with reserved seating—check your seat location ahead of time and aim for center orchestra or mid-rows for the best view and acoustics.
• 3.Plan to arrive a bit early to park in downtown Detroit; there are nearby garages and street parking, and rideshare can save you parking headaches.
• 4.Smart casual is a solid go-to; the crowd tends to dress nicely but not stuffy, so you’ll fit right in without overdoing it.
• 5.If there’s an intermission, use it to stretch, grab a quick refreshment, and swing by the merch table to snag a soundtrack or t-shirt from the show.
