What to Expect
- 1.Get there early to snag a table— sessions run with professional game masters from Rough Magic Games, and sign-ups for beginner-friendly tables can fill fast.
- 2.The vibe is brewery casual, so you can sip a beer between turns and chat with other players. If you’re brand new, ask staff or the GM which tables are best for first-timers.
- 3.Most tables have basic dice and starter rules, but it’s handy to bring a notebook for character sheets or notes and be ready to borrow gear if needed.
- 4.Parking is on-site at the Oak Park brewery, and the event runs from 6:30 pm to midnight, so plan a ride or parking budget for a late night.
- 5.If you’re new to tabletop RPGs, introduce yourself to the GM and your tablemates— folks are usually welcoming and happy to explain the basics and help you get involved without pressure.
