DSO Community Concert

About This Event

A free community concert by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra featuring movie themes and classical favorites.

What to Expect

• 1.The program will blend movie themes with classical favorites performed by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, so you can expect familiar tunes and a polished performance.
• 2.It's a seated, audience friendly concert in a community space, so you can relax and just listen rather than feel on the spot.
• 3.There will be a relatively quiet, focused vibe with occasional applause after pieces, not a walk around event.
• 4.Parking and entry can take a bit longer than you think, so plan to arrive early to find seating.
• 5.If you are new to orchestral concerts, use the interludes to notice how the pieces shift mood and tempo and then enjoy the familiar melodies.
