- 1.You'll see kid friendly activity stations and short guided activities designed for early childhood development, plus storytime and simple crafts you can do with your child. The goal is hands on and engaging rather than passively watching.
- 2.The crowd is families with young kids, so the vibe is casual and welcoming and noise from little ones is normal. Don't stress if your little one wanders or needs a quick break.
- 3.Bring water and a light snack for your child because there may not be a formal snack bar. Some park areas nearby have limited options, so packing a tiny snack is smart.
- 4.Plan for park logistics like parking and stroller routes at Oakland County Parks and Recreation on Watkins Lake Road. Arrive a few minutes early to find a spot and check the park map for restrooms and accessible paths.
