Early Childhood Hour Out (ECHO)
About this event
A caregiver-guided hour of activities, fun, and friendship for local families with babies, toddlers, and young children.
What to Expect
- 1.Arrive a few minutes early to park and check in at the Lewis E Wint Nature Center; there’s usually a quick sign-in and you’ll grab any activity materials for you and your child.
- 2.Dress for spring weather and bring the basics: a small blanket, a snack, diapers/wipes, and a spare change of clothes in case of spills or a nature adventure.
- 3.The activities are caregiver-guided and kid-friendly, so you’ll participate with your child in songs, simple crafts, and sensory play rather than a drop-off session.
- 4.The vibe is easygoing and family-friendly; the pace is gentle, and there’s usually seating and a relaxed crowd, so you can take breaks as needed.
- 5.If you have questions or want tips on local programs, linger a bit after and chat with staff—the staff are usually happy to point you to kid-focused resources.
