What to Expect
- 1.I show up a bit early at Longacre House to sign in and grab coffee before the room fills up.
- 2.I bring plenty of business cards and have a tight 30 second intro ready so I can explain who I refer to and what I'm looking for.
- 3.Conversations are professional but friendly and I keep them short and value focused by asking open ended questions about referral needs.
- 4.If there's a rotation format or table hosts, I participate and use each stop to meet new people during the hour.
- 5.I follow up within 24 hours with a quick note referencing something we discussed to turn the connection into a real referral.
