Earth Day Celebration

About This Event

Explore the Outdoor Natural Play Area and celebrate Earth Day with crafts, free tree seedlings, a guided nature hike, and vendors.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive a bit early to grab a free tree seedling and check out the craft stations before they run out.
• 2.Dress for outdoor walking and weather; the guided nature hike will take place around the Outdoor Natural Play Area, so wear sturdy shoes.
• 3.Bring a reusable bag and some cash for vendors; many activities involve hands-on crafts and small purchases.
• 4.Parking can fill up, so consider carpooling or arriving a little before 4 pm to snag a spot in the center lot.
• 5.Talk to volunteers and vendors to learn about local conservation efforts and what you can do at home to help the Earth.
