Enigma Variations & Britten

About This Event

The Detroit Symphony Orchestra performs Elgar's Enigma Variations and works by Britten.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a full orchestral performance, with Elgar's Enigma Variations as the main draw and works by Britten also on the program.
• 2.Orchestra Hall is a seated concert venue, so you can settle in and focus on the music rather than navigating a standing crowd.
• 3.Arrive with enough time to find your seat before the performance begins; late seating may be held until a suitable pause.
• 4.Check the concert details for any intermission and program notes, which can help make the variations and Britten selections easier to follow.
• 5.Plan your trip to Woodward Avenue ahead of time, especially parking and post-concert traffic around downtown Detroit.
