Fall Lantern Festival

About This Event

Daytime festivities include pumpkin carving, Victorian-era crafts, games, a scavenger hunt, and live music. The Evening Glow features hundreds of glowing pumpkins and lanterns, live music, and ghost stories throughout the historic buildings.

What to Expect

• 1.There's a lot packed into the day, from pumpkin carving and Victorian-era crafts to games and a scavenger hunt. Check the event schedule when you arrive so you can plan around the activities you care about.
• 2.The Evening Glow is the main reason to stay late: hundreds of illuminated pumpkins and lanterns set the scene around the historic buildings, with ghost stories along the way.
• 3.Wear comfortable shoes and expect to walk between buildings. Since this is a historic village, paths and surfaces may be uneven.
• 4.Arrive earlier if you want time for the daytime crafts and games, then bring an extra layer for the evening outdoors.
• 5.Live music is part of both the daytime festivities and evening program, but food and drink options aren't specified, so check with the organizers before counting on refreshments onsite.
