Family Fun Swim

About This Event

Splash, play, and relax together! This open swim time is perfect for families to enjoy the pool with space to swim, float, and have fun. Registration is required to reserve your spot...

What to Expect

• 1.Since registration is required to reserve your spot, sign up early and arrive a bit before your time to check in at the front desk.
• 2.Keep your kids within arm's reach and review pool rules with them before you swim; if someone isn’t a confident swimmer, have appropriate flotation gear ready.
• 3.Bring towels, sunscreen, and a few pool-friendly toys, but check what’s allowed by the YMCA first so you don’t bring items that can get confiscated.
• 4.Plan for parking and entry—the Birmingham Family YMCA has a lobby check-in; allow a few extra minutes for busy open swim times.
• 5.Expect a family-friendly, casual vibe with other parents and kids; stay flexible and use short breaks for rest or water as needed.
