Farmington Players Present: The Haunting of Hill House

About This Event

A live theatrical production of the classic ghost story by Shirley Jackson.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll see a live stage adaptation with moody lighting, creaky doors, and suspenseful sound cues that play with shadows.
• 2.The action happens in a small community theatre, so the tension can feel unusually intimate and personal.
• 3.Expect basic but effective stagecraft rather than flashy effects; think crafted props, lighting, and sound that evoke Hill House.
• 4.Intermission, if present, is a good time to stretch, grab a quick drink in the lobby, and trade reactions with fellow fans while keeping voices down.
• 5.If you're new to live theater, arrive early to find your seat and settle in for an immersive, focused experience.
