Fireside Chats Series

About This Event

An educational evening discussion series covering various local history and environmental topics.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a short, focused talk about local nature or history, with time to listen rather than a hands-on activity.
• 2.The fire gives the evening a relaxed, cozy feel, but the format is still centered on the discussion, so you can attend solo without needing to mingle.
• 3.October evenings in Waterford can be chilly, so bring a warm layer even if the talk is indoors or near a fire.
• 4.Plan to arrive a little early to find the event space and get settled; the venue address is for the parks department, so check event instructions for the exact room or gathering spot.
• 5.It runs for about an hour, making it easy to fit into an evening. Check ahead if you need details on seating or whether the fire is outdoors.
