Annual fireworks display over the lake at Stony Creek Metropark.
What to Expect
- 1.Plan to arrive 60–90 minutes before 10 PM to park and snag a good lakefront view.
- 2.Bring a blanket or small chairs; grassy viewing areas tend to fill up quickly once the show starts.
- 3.Dress in layers and use bug spray; it gets cooler by the water after sunset.
- 4.Pack water and snacks and check if outside food is allowed—concessions at the park can be busy.
- 5.Stay aware of post-show crowds and follow staff directions; keep kids close and use designated exits.
