What to Expect
- 1.Look at the rotating lineup of food trucks along the West Bloomfield Civic Center and skim the menus first. Pick 2-3 trucks to sample so you don't get overwhelmed and you can compare flavors.
- 2.This is a casual weekday lunch scene, so you can eat and move at your own pace. You can chat if you want or just grab and go.
- 3.Bring a little cash as backup and know that many trucks take cards or mobile pay, but not all. A quick peek at the posted menu helps you decide in advance.
- 4.Parking can be tight around a municipal complex during lunchtime, so consider arriving a bit early or using nearby streets. There should be outdoor seating or benches to perch on while you eat.
- 5.If you are new to food trucks, ask staff for a couple of popular items and start there; it makes it easy to join in without feeling self conscious.
