Fireside Chats Series

About This Event

An evening educational or community discussion series hosted by Oakland County Parks.

What to Expect

• 1.This is a short, one-hour food distribution, so plan to arrive during the posted window rather than expecting an all-day event.
• 2.The listing does not say whether distribution is drive-through or walk-up, or whether registration is required. Check with Gleaners before heading out so you know where to go and what to bring.
• 3.Oakland County Parks and Recreation is the venue, but the listing gives a street address rather than a specific park entrance or lot. Leave a little time to find the distribution area.
• 4.Bring bags or a sturdy box if you have them, and check ahead about any limits on household size or items available.
• 5.Expect a practical, community-service atmosphere rather than a social event; staff or volunteers can usually point you through the process.
