Hamtramck Labor Day Festival
About this event
A three-day celebration featuring live music, food from local vendors, a carnival, and the famous Polish Day Parade. Admission is free.
What to Expect
- 1.The festival is spread across Caniff Ave and Joseph Campau Ave with a carnival and multiple live music acts, so wear comfy shoes and plan to walk a lot between stages.
- 2.Food is from local vendors offering Polish and other favorites; bring cash and a little extra for snacks and a ride or two at the carnival.
- 3.If you want a parade view, stake out a spot early along the Polish Day Parade route since sidewalks fill up fast and street closures can slow you down.
- 4.The carnival has kid friendly rides and games but you can also just people watch and soak in the festive vibe solo.
- 5.Parking around the Caniff and Campau intersections is tight, so consider rideshare or parking a few blocks away and walking in.
