Hilary Hahn performs Mozart

About This Event

Violinist Hilary Hahn joins the DSO to perform Mozart.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive a bit early to find your seat and settle in—the hall’s acoustics feel different once the house is full.
• 2.Listen for Hilary Hahn’s violin lines and how the orchestra supports her; Mozart rewards close attention to phrasing and balance.
• 3.Dress neatly but comfortably; smart casual is a safe bet for a classical concert at Orchestra Hall.
• 4.Mute your phone and keep conversations to a minimum during the performance so you don’t pull focus from the music.
• 5.Stay for the bows and any possible encore, and use intermission time to refresh if there is one.
