HOME by Samm-Art Williams

About This Event

A performance of the play HOME by Samm-Art Williams, a story of a young man's journey from a rural farm to the city and back again.

What to Expect

• 1.The performance centers on a young man’s journey from a rural farm to the city and back, so listen for how the dialogue reveals his choices and growth.
• 2.This is a compact, actor-driven piece—expect intimate staging and a focus on character rather than big set pieces.
• 3.Sit closer if you can; the performers’ facial expressions and timing carry a lot of the emotion and subtext.
• 4.Arrive 15–20 minutes early to snag good seating at the matinee and settle in without feeling rushed.
• 5.If there’s a post-show discussion, stick around for extra context on the play’s themes and development.
