Jazz Crawl featuring the Xavier Davis New York Quartet

About This Event

A live jazz performance featuring the Xavier Davis New York Quartet as part of the Jazz Crawl series.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive early to stroll the DIA galleries before the music starts and find a comfortable viewing spot for the quartet.
• 2.Expect a refined, intimate atmosphere as you listen to a focused jazz set in a museum space—this isn’t a club scene, so volume and crowd flow are more restrained.
• 3.If you want closer proximity to the performers, aim for seating or a line-of-sight near the stage; museum layouts can mean some spots have limited visibility.
• 4.Plan for food and drink via the on-site cafe; galleries often don’t allow large outside bags or meals, so check the venue’s policy and keep things simple.
• 5.Parking around Woodward Avenue can fill up after 6pm, so consider transit options like the QLine or allow extra time for parking nearby.
