Jurassic Park in Concert

About This Event

The Detroit Symphony Orchestra performs John Williams' iconic score live to the full-length film.

What to Expect

• 1.The Detroit Symphony Orchestra will perform John Williams' score live while Jurassic Park plays on screen so you get the music synced to the action.
• 2.The show is a seated, formal concert in a downtown concert hall so plan to sit through the entire film with the orchestra backing it up.
• 3.There will be moments of quiet and dramatic crescendos and you should avoid talking during the film to keep the sound clean.
• 4.If you want a snack or a drink, hit the lobby before or during intermission since food inside the seating area is usually not allowed.
• 5.Arrive early to park and find your seats since downtown Detroit can be busy around showtimes.
