Kenny Wayne Shepherd

About This Event

Blues-rock guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd performs live in Ann Arbor.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive early to locate your seat at the Michigan Theater; this historic downtown venue uses reserved seating, so check your ticket and map your row before the lights go down.
• 2.Brace yourself for a blues rock punch that can be louder than a typical movie; the energy is real but the theater setting means you'll probably stay seated, so plan some foot tapping and clap along that stays mindful of others.
• 3.Concessions and a bar are usually available, so grab a drink before the show and have a plan for timing if you want to stretch your legs during the set.
• 4.Parking is downtown so allow extra time for parking and a short walk to the venue; the Michigan Theater sits on East Liberty Street in the heart of Ann Arbor.
• 5.First timer tip: wear comfortable shoes, bring a light layer because theaters can get chilly, and check the venue rules about photography or recording before you arrive.
