What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive a bit early to navigate parking around Flagstar Strand Theatre and find your seat before the 8 pm showtime; allow extra time for downtown Pontiac traffic and lines for concessions.
• 2.Kristin Key mixes stand-up with musical bits, often weaving queer humor and catchy songs; expect quick, sharp punchlines and sing-alongs between jokes.
• 3.The crowd tends to be supportive and easygoing in this seated theater setting, so you can relax and enjoy without feeling like you have to perform.
• 4.There are drinks and snacks at the venue; you can grab something before or during an intermission, so pace yourself if you’re a light sleeper and the show runs late.
• 5.If you’re new to her work, checking out a clip or two beforehand will set expectations for her style and tone, helping you ride the energy of the room.
