The Human Development Commission is holding a Back-to-School Bash. Every student that attends will receive a free backpack with school supplies. Includes games, activities, face painting, and giveaways.
What to Expect
- 1.Plan to arrive a bit before 1 pm to line up for the backpack giveaway at Cramton Park, 130 South Monroe Street.
- 2.There will be kid friendly activities like games and face painting, so bring the little ones and expect a steady flow of families wandering between stations.
- 3.This is an outdoorsy, park vibe so dress for sun and bring sunscreen, water, and a hat; there will be a lot of walking between stations.
- 4.Parking can be limited near the park, so consider carpooling or arriving early and be prepared to walk a bit from nearby streets.
- 5.If you're a first timer, don't worry about social pressure; volunteers are super helpful and you can jump in or just observe and take it all in.
