L'Chaim: A Toast to the Jewish Legacy of Broadway

About This Event

A musical journey paying tribute to the Jewish legacy of musical theatre, featuring iconic songs and historical stories of Jewish composers and lyricists.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect familiar Broadway songs alongside short stories about the Jewish composers and lyricists behind them, so this is part concert and part cultural history.
• 2.The theater setting gives you a clear focal point and a chance to settle in; arrive a little early to find your seat without rushing.
• 3.If you know the songs, you may enjoy recognizing how they connect to the stories. You do not need to be a Broadway expert to follow along.
• 4.Check the venue's current parking and entry guidance before you go, especially if you are unfamiliar with West Maple Road or the West Bloomfield area.
• 5.At 90 minutes, it is a manageable evening out, but check whether the program includes an intermission if that matters to your plans.
