Legacy Detroit Jazz Orchestra with Ali Jackson

About This Event

Experience a night of jazz with the Legacy Detroit Orchestra featuring Ali Jackson.

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive a bit early to grab a good seat; the Steinway Piano Gallery of Detroit is an intimate showroom, so you’ll be close to the players from the start.
• 2.This is a listening-focused jazz night among pianos, so keep conversations low during performance hours and let the music take the spotlight.
• 3.The room’s acoustics can be bright and lively with a piano-driven set—if you’re sensitive to sound, consider seating away from the front or bringing ear protection.
• 4.Parking is usually straightforward at the Maple Road location, but give yourself a few extra minutes for check-in and finding the best viewing spot.
• 5.Check with staff about photography or recording policies before you take any photos; flash can be disruptive during a live jazz set.
