What to Expect
- 1.Get there early to park and grab your race bib so you’re not scrambling in the cold once the sun goes down.
- 2.Dress in layers with a warm base, a windproof outer layer, gloves, and a hat; wear reflective gear and shoes with good traction for potentially slick paths.
- 3.Bring a small light like a headlamp or clip-on so you’re visible on the lighted trail and watch your footing for icy patches.
- 4.After you finish, there’ll be a cozy post-race vibe with hot drinks and lighting; bring a blanket or portable chair if you want to hang out and watch the fireworks/light display.
- 5.If you’re new to night runs, pace yourself and remember this is a run/walk event meant to be fun and social; the event kicks off the Fireworks and Flannels two-day lineup, so expect a festive crowd and later hours.
