Melodies at the Museum-Detroit Institute of Arts

About This Event

A musical performance event held at the Detroit Institute of Arts, presented by Southfield Public Library.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a live musical performance in a museum setting, rather than a full concert production. Check the museum's event listing for the specific performers and seating details before you go.
• 2.Arrive a little early to find the event space inside the museum and settle in. The DIA is large, so allow time to get from the entrance to the performance area.
• 3.This is likely an easy event to attend solo: the performance gives everyone a shared focus, and conversation with other attendees is optional.
• 4.Confirm whether museum admission is required or included, and check current entry policies before traveling. The event description does not specify ticket or admission details.
• 5.If you want to explore the galleries too, leave extra time before or after the performance rather than trying to fit in a full museum visit at the last minute.
