Micro Nature Moments

About This Event

A nature-focused program exploring the small wonders of the local ecosystem with park naturalists.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll be guided on a relaxed, nature-focused walk by park naturalists, highlighting moss, pond life, and tiny insects you normally overlook.
• 2.The vibe is low-pressure and friendly; you can participate actively or simply observe and listen at your own pace.
• 3.Bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent—the session runs roughly three hours and is outdoors.
• 4.Plan to park and check in at the West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Commission facilities at 4640 Walnut Lake Rd; give yourself 10–15 minutes for arrival and parking.
• 5.Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, and bring a small notebook or smartphone to jot down 2–3 interesting tidbits you learn about local ecosystems.
