Mike V & The Rats

About This Event

Wsg Thunderdome, Detroit 442, Saber Tooth Gary The Rats are making their triumphant return! Skateboarding icon Mike Vallely has revived his original punk band, Mike V And The Rats, and they’re set...

What to Expect

• 1.You'll get a raw, high-energy punk set from Mike V & The Rats in a tight bar environment—loud guitars, quick drums, and crowd chants that spill into Small's intimate space.
• 2.The crowd vibe will be sweaty and rowdy but welcoming; you’ll likely see moshing or circle pits, so watch your footing and be mindful of others near the edges.
• 3.Drinks will be flowing at Small's and the bar line can get long between sets; plan to grab a beer or two and expect a merch table to pop up with band shirts and stuff.
• 4.Doors usually open a bit before showtime and the room fills fast, so arrive early (by 6:30 or so) to stake out a good spot since seating is limited.
• 5.If you’re new to this scene, bring ear protection, keep an eye on your valuables in a crowded room, and embrace the no-frills, up-close vibe of a classic punk show at a local bar.
