Movie Talks

About This Event

Library events are always free to the public and you do not need a library card to attend! The Farmington Community Library has two locations. This event will be held in the Auditorium at the FCL...

What to Expect

• 1.Arrive a little early to snag a good seat in the auditorium; these library talks tend to fill up, and seating is first-come.
• 2.The format usually pairs a screening with a moderated discussion or Q&A afterward; bring a question or a quick take on the film.
• 3.Keep conversations to a whisper and put phones on silent; it’s a library setting, not a club.
• 4.It's free and open to the public, with no library card needed; there’s typically library parking nearby—plan enough time to park.
• 5.If you love movies, you’ll get more out of hearing others' takes and the host’s insights than you would just watching alone.
