Open Mic

About This Event

Weekly open mic night for local musicians and performers.

What to Expect

• 1.Get there early to sign up and see who’s on the bill; the vibe is friendly, and spots fill up fast.
• 2.Prepare a tight 1-2 minute set (or a couple of short songs) since the night moves quickly between acts.
• 3.The crowd is local and supportive—casual conversation and encouragement are the norm, so relax and have fun.
• 4.Bring your own gear basics and know where the mic and stage monitors are; test your levels before you go on.
• 5.Stingers is a bar, so plan a drink or two and expect the bar line; parking nearby on Grand River Ave is common, and the room can get cozy.
