Opeth

About This Event

Progressive metal band Opeth performs live at the historic Masonic Temple.

What to Expect

• 1.Opeth's live set is guitar-forward and dynamically intense, so brace for long, intricate tracks and epic tempo shifts—bring ear protection and stay hydrated.
• 2.The Masonic Temple is a historic, multi-level venue; sightlines vary, so scout a spot with a decent view early and be ready for stairs or elevators depending on where you stand.
• 3.Parking around Temple Street can be tight in Detroit—use rideshare or a nearby garage and give yourself extra time for security lines and finding your entrance.
• 4.Merch lines can get long at metal shows, so decide in advance what you want and hit the merch area early if you care about vinyl, shirts, or posters.
• 5.If you're new to Opeth or progressive metal, some songs run long and the dynamics can swing; soak in the live production and let the historic venue vibe heighten the experience.
