Pine Lake Marina Tour
About this event
Historical tour providing information about the longtime marina, water taxis, and the camp on Pine Lake, followed by a walk to the nearby Interurban railway bed.
What to Expect
- 1.You begin at Pine Lake Marina and stroll along the waterfront to hear how the marina operated, how water taxis worked, and about the nearby camp, with a couple quick photo stops.
- 2.Expect a small, friendly group and a guide who shares stories; you can chat with people if you want but you can also keep to the back and absorb the history.
- 3.Dress for outdoors at dusk, wear comfortable shoes, and bring a light layer since it can get breezy by the lake.
- 4.There is no food or drink included; plan to eat beforehand or afterwards and bring water; there may be restrooms at the marina but don't rely on them.
- 5.The walk ends with a short trek to the Interurban railway bed; stay on the marked path and listen for safety notes from the guide.
