Plan Commission Meeting

About This Event

Public meeting of the Southgate Plan Commission to review development proposals and zoning matters.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect agenda-driven discussion of development proposals and zoning matters, rather than a presentation or social event. Check the posted agenda beforehand so you know which items matter to you.
• 2.Arrive a little early to find the meeting room and get settled. City Hall meetings can have limited seating, especially when a proposal draws public interest.
• 3.If you want to comment, check the meeting rules or ask staff when public comment is allowed. Keep your remarks focused on the specific proposal or zoning issue.
• 4.Plan for a formal, mostly seated meeting with little opportunity to buy food or drinks. Bring water and avoid scheduling a tight departure if discussion runs long.
